MATERIALS AND CARE
Care for fiber & water: at least 70% ECOVERO™ Viscose.
We use the Join Life label on clothing that is produced using technology and raw materials that help us to reduce the environmental impact of our products.
ECOVERO™ is a viscose produced by Lenzing using raw materials and technologies that reduce the impact of the fibre production processes.
This fibre is obtained from wood grown in more sustainably managed forests, where trees are grown in a controlled manner. In addition, the producer of the fibre has been rated as “green shirt” by the non-profit organisation Canopy in its Hot Button Report, ensuring the protection of old-growth and endangered forests.
In addition, technologies are used during its production process that comply with more responsible consumption and management parameters established by the European Union regarding energy, water and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
ECOVERO™ is certified by the EU Ecolabel, a label developed by the European Commission Directorate-General for the Environment that verifies compliance with strict environmental standards during production processes.
In addition, the source of the wood is controlled through collaboration with external organisations that verify compliance with our Forest Policy via an audit programme, thus ensuring that old-growth and endangered forests are respected.
Care for water
These garments are produced with technologies that reduce water consumption in their production processes.
The garment dyeing and washing processes consume the largest amount of water. Using closed circuits that allow us to reuse water or employing technologies such as low bath ratio machines or mass dyeing, which reduce water consumption, help us to preserve freshwater resources.
This product has been manufactured in accordance with the Join Life standard developed by the Inditex Group and based on Life-Cycle Assessment, an internationally standardised methodology used to evaluate the impact of a product in the different stages of its production, use and end of life.
In order to evaluate compliance with the standard, an auditing programme has been put in place to be carried out by specialised external companies.
We work with monitoring programmes to ensure compliance with safety, health and quality standards for our products.
The Green to Wear 2.0 standard aims to minimise the environmental impact of textile manufacturing. To that end, we have developed Inditex’s The List programme, which helps guarantee both that production processes are clean and that our garments are safe and healthy.

Caring for your clothes is caring for the environment.
Knit garments have elasticity, which is why it is important to wash them at low temperatures on a gentle spin cycle, dry them on a flat surface and fold them for storage. This will prevent them from becoming deformed and will reduce energy consumption.
